Samantha is proud to be a member of the Long Riders' Guild -- the world's first international association of equestrian explorers. This invitation-only organization was formed in 1994 to represent men and women of all nations who have ridden more than 1,000 continuous miles on a single equestrian journey. Members currently reside in 45 countries.
The Long Riders' Guild was instrumental in Samantha's planning and development of the Nevada Discovery Ride. Their website is an invaluable repository of information on all things equestrian.
Additionally, the Long RIders' Guild's publishing arm, Horse Travel Books publishes more than a hundred equestrian travel titles in eight languages, making it the world’s premier source of equestrian exploration wisdom. The Guild has now launched a project entitled The Long Riders' Guild Academic Foundation whose mission is to provide an academic forum where every type of horse-related knowledge is being investigated and published.
